Dawud Abdur-Rahkman
Assistant Coach

Dawud Abdur-Rahkman joined the Muhlenberg coaching staff for the 2013-14 season, bringing more than 15 years of overall experience as a basketball coach, including seven at the collegiate level.

Abdur-Rahkman also serves the Athletic Department as coordinator of diversity, inclusion and leadership.

From 2000 to 2005, Abdur Rahkman was assistant coach at Division I Howard University, where he recruited and signed a top-200 player in the country and was part of an 18-win season in 2002. In 2011 and 2012, he built a college program from scratch as the head coach at Penn State Lehigh Valley.

Abdur-Rahkman, who received both his bachelor’s (2002) and master’s (2007) degrees from Howard, also has more than 10 years experience as a head basketball coach at the High School Elite AAU level and coached scholastically at nearby William Allen High School, Notre Dame Academy (Middleburg, Va.) and Hampton Roads (Va.) Academy. He served in the United States Army for eight years, achieving the rank of sergeant.

Nick Melosky
Assistant Coach

Nick Melosky joined the Muhlenberg men's basketball coaching staff for the 2016-17 season, just months after finishing his Mule playing career.

Melosky was a valuable reserve after transferring to Muhlenberg from Lebanon Valley midway through his freshman year. He played in 78 games and scored 141 points, with a high of 11 against Cairn as a junior. Melosky served as team captain as a senior, when he shot 56.7 percent from the field.

A graduate of nearby Whitehall High School, Melosky was a double major in accounting and finance. He made the Dean’s List five times and was named to the NABC Honors Court in 2015 and the Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball Scholar-Athlete Team in 2014.
